As the inaugural Assistant Provost and Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships at Vanderbilt University, Scott Paja has built and now leads a diverse, skilled team of relationship management professionals. They serve the faculty, staff, students, and alumni of an extraordinarily collaborative top-tier institution, guiding strategy and facilitation for symbiotic collaborations with world-class corporate partners.

Scott’s current role builds on his previous positions as the AVP of Partner Success at the University of Cincinnati and the Assistant Dean for Experiential Learning and Employer Relations in the College of Engineering at Oregon State University. These experiences have allowed him to develop, implement, and manage a wide array of new programs, policies, and partnerships. Additionally, he has advanced his field through ongoing collaborations and presentations on university-industry partnerships, leadership and organizational development, and CRM implementation.

Scott is an enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic, executive presence, and a customer service orientation, thriving in complex, evolving environments. At his core, he is a socially curious connector and relational, servant-oriented leader who enjoys building bridges to create mutual value.
