I received my Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University in mechanical engineering with a specialty in surgical robotics and medical devices. My research focused on the design and control of continuum robots with the goal of making surgery safer and less invasive.

I am currently the CTO of CardioFlow Technologies, a startup focused on creating devices for the treatment and management of heart failure.
